Ecology: Ecosystem Dynamics and Conservation
Ecosystems and Conservation Biology
Eric Baccega/AGE Fotostock
How do scientists study ecosystems and grapple with real-world conservation questions?
Learn about ecology and ecosystem dynamics using a systems thinking lens. Authored by world-class experts at the cutting edge of conservation biology, this six-week online course examines how scientists study various ecosystems around the world—from Mozambique's Gorongosa National Park, to the Hudson River in New York, to Caribbean coral reefs. Learners will investigate the complex array of factors that inform management efforts, and grapple with real-world conservation questions, such as whether an ecosystem can recover from disruption and what role humans can, and should, play in that recovery.

School performance, social networking effects, and learning of school children
Abstract
This study uses structural equations modeling to test a hypothetical social network model with applications to a sample of 34,896 school children in Abu Dhabi. The main independent constructs in the model are related to children’s attitude with regard to social networking, reasons for using social networks, things done on social networks, and topics used. The dependent constructs cover perceived school performance and social effects of social networking. The study will describe the relations among the various constructs. The effect of other variables, such as parental knowhow, is also investigated. Our work has improved our insight in the social networking model. Results support the idea of reciprocal relations among perceived performance, learning from social networking, and the effect of social networking. Evidence for a model that includes opposite pathways implies that the problem of social networking constructs, its antecedents, and possible consequences should be examined with caution.

NAVIGATING CONTEXT
ADHD Students & Classroom Considerations
The culture of the classroom can either support or create barriers to student success (Piffner,2011). Factors that foster attention, positive behavior, and academic and social success includeestablishing positive relationships with students, adopting classroom management techniques, and creating a physical arrangement that facilitates learning.
It is often a positive relationship with one teacher that facilitates school success for a studentwith ADHD (Piffner, 2011).

Worst Economic Downturn Since the Great Depression
The world has changed dramatically in the three months since our last update of the World Economic Outlook in January. A rare disaster, a coronavirus pandemic, has resulted in a tragically large number of human lives being lost. As countries implement necessary quarantines and social distancing practices to contain the pandemic, the world has been put in a Great Lockdown. The magnitude and speed of collapse in activity that has followed is unlike anything experienced in our lifetimes.'

Robotic Technology Design Phase
ABSTRACT: This paper attempts to show the main aspects which have given evolution to the development of a device belonging to a new pedagogic strategy called educational robotics. We present how starting from the basic design requirements expressed, and after applying a rigorous and methodological design process, the design specifications are obtained according to the different pedagogical, functional, esthetic, constructive, and economic aspects which this strategy proposes to implement.
KEYWORDS: Robotics, active learning, design methodology, innovation in education, engineering, artificial intelligence.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Classic Development Strategies
Depending on the subject or assignment, you could describe the person's physical appearance, behaviour, inner thoughts or the influence the person had on you or others. A person's appearance can be described in many ways.

friendly (Everyone was very friendly towards me.)
honest (He was a hard-working honest man.)
generous (She's always very generous to the kids.)
rude (She was very rude about my driving.)

Lemon juice in its natural state
Lemon juice in its natural state is acidic with a pH of about 2, but once metabolized it actually becomes alkaline with a pH well above 7. So, outside the body, anyone can see that lemon juice is very acidic. However, once fully digested, its effect is proven to be alkalizing with many health benefits.
