What is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
Primer text from The College of William & Mary

ADHD is one of the most commonly diagnosed conditions of children (Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention, 2015).

In a 2016 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study, scientists found that 6.1 million children aged 2-17 years living in the U.S. had been diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), which is similar to previous estimates.

Ages 2-5: Approximately 388,000 children
Ages 6-11: Approximately 2.4 million children
Ages 12-17: Approximately 3.3 million children

The diagnostic term attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) refers to individuals who display patterns of inattention, impulsivity, and overactive behavior that interfere with daily functioning (American Psychiatric Association [APA], 2013).

The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) V (APA, 2013) criteria for diagnosing ADHD list
three types of ADHD and the accompanying characteristics.

Confidence and morale
Most business people are optimistic and positive. Regularly associating with such people can be a great morale boost, particularly in the difficult early phases of a new business. If you are not naturally outgoing, regularly meeting new people can also boost your confidence and on a personal basis you may form new friendships with like-minded people.

Organic food vs. locally-grown food
Financial: Money stays within the local economy. More money goes directly to the farmer, instead of to things like marketing and distribution.

Transportation: In the U.S., for example, the average distance a meal travels from the farm to the dinner plate is over 1,500 miles. Produce must be picked while still unripe and then gassed to “ripen” it after transport. Or the food is highly processed in factories using preservatives, irradiation, and other means to keep it stable for transport.

Freshness: Local food is harvested when ripe and thus fresher and full of flavor.

Small local farmers often use organic methods but sometimes cannot afford to become certified organic. Visit a farmer’s market and talk with the farmers to find out what methods they use.

How can educators identify and select accommodations to students?
Using a set of guiding questions, the teacher will identify one timing and scheduling accommodation for a student with a disability based on his or her individual strengths and needs and the barrier created by the disability. The educator will then implement the accommodation and evaluate its effectiveness. Finally, the teacher and student will reflect on the effectiveness of the accommodation.

Creation Lab-PL
The book description is the pitch to the reader about why they should buy your book. It is sales copy to get them to see that the book is for them (or not), and then make the purchase. ... In many cases, the description is the factor that solidifies in the reader's mind whether the book is for them or not.

Centralized Deployment, Easier Updates
Templafy simplifies the process of deploying and updating templates enterprise-wide. Now you can centrally deploy and update dynamic templates that adapt to address more granular requirements (e.g. language, branch location, user-type, etc.), dramatically accelerating day-to-day document creation and ensuring the long-term value of those templates.

Templafy Builder also provides prompts and options to guide users through the setup of any document, including contracts and proposals, providing easy access to centrally managed text elements, slides, charts, tables etc. Prefigured design solutions guide users to create professional work with impact, without the need for advanced graphics skills.

Templates are living things. Whether you are undergoing a rebrand or simply need to capture a regulatory change, Templafy makes it easy to roll out updates to the whole company or just specific users. The need for IT involvement is reduced dramatically, and all business document templates and content assets are easily accessible
